Photo Manipulation and Ethics

A. Photographers use photoshop and other editing softwares to tweak their photos. Their editing adds on a false impression to the viewers because they are not viewing the truth. Many of these people got fired for publishing these photos as they conveyed a whole different perspective of the situation.

B. I believe this is very unacceptable because its basically lying to all of its viewers. They change the meaning and to create "perfection" or to gain "sympathy".

I chose this as unethical because Saddam and Bush debating would create a huge controversy and it would really confuse people. This is a serious situation so they shouldn't provide false information about issues like this.

This is ethical because theres nothing wrong with a little editing to make a picture look better. If anything, it made the picture more appealing and it didn't hurt or confuse people in the making.
