Caption #1

Who: President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama

What: embrace

Where: on the tarmac of the Davenport Iowa Airport

When: August 15, 2012 (Wednesday)

Why: they  missed each other after being apart for three weeks

How: warmly, lovingly

Background: After embracing Michelle on the tarmac, President Obama tripped and fell and bruised his face.

Sentence #1: Verb? (Present Tense) President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama warmly embrace each other on the tarmac of the Davenport Iowa Airport on Wednesday.

Sentence #2: Verb? (Past Tense) The Obamas had not seen each other in three weeks and missed each other

Background: on tour all over Asia, this was the last stop

Sentence #1: Verb? (Present Tense) Psy energetically performs his famous track, Gangnam Style, in front of one of his many sold out shows in central Seoul on October 12 and pleases his thousands of fans. 

Sentence #2: Verb? (Past Tense) Psy's popularity blew up tremendously with this one hit and has spread ever since then.

Who: Christian Haupt

What: throws first pitch at Dodgers vs Padres

Where: Los Angeles

When: September 4

Why: He was honored and personally chosen to represent the Dodgers

How: passionately and skillfully

Background: played in baseball teams and has love for baseball, really super excited

Sentence #1: Verb? (Present Tense) Christian Haupt skillfully and passionately hurls the first pitch at the Dodgers vs Padres game in honor to represent the Dodgers on September 4th right there in Los Angeles.

Sentence #2: Verb? (Past Tense) Chris has played on teams before and cried when he found out that the Dodgers chose him.

Definitions
  • Depth of Field (shallow and wide) - the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image
  • Light (angle and intensity) - element that makes things visible
  • Shadows - dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface
  • Diffusion - refraction of light or an erratic display of light passing through an element
  • Exposure - amount of light allowed to fall on each area of a photograph
  • Aperture (f-stop) - opening that allows light to pass through a lens and reach the camera sensor
  • Shutter speed - length of time the shutter of the camera is open
  • ISO - sensitivity to light of a camera's sensor
