1. Gordon Park's photos really stood out to me because they didn't only show photos of real life, but you can tell that there was a story behind every picture.

You see the struggle that people experienced back in the day, especially if they were living in the lower classes. I smell an unsanitary scene as if I am really there. I hear the motivational boost to be a successful individual during a tough time. I taste the strive for success and a bright future. And lastly, I feel sorrow, yet hope, for those you fight for a better future and justice to prove those who doubt.
I also see the strive to provide for the weak ones that we love, giving sacrifices. I smell the strong stench of unsanitary bodies that have no choice. I hear the desperate cries and prayers of the ones who need a miracle and help. I taste the tears for those who suffer. And I feel grief and hurt for those who fight to live through everyday.
3. I like the idea of displaying posters with some of Gordon Parks artwork. We could include his actual photos with little descriptions and captions that explain the story behind these pictures that explain why he took these photos.
